Lotro Release Notes Vol 2 Book 8 Patch 1
These are the preliminary release notes for Volume II, Book 8, Patch 1. They should be considered incomplete and subject to change. So far we can expect the correct Galadhrim reputation for killing monsters, much harder smash from Mistress, Waterwheels Hard Mode slightly increased in difficulty and much more¡.
Instances
The hard mode chests for the Book 8 instances now properly drop the Elf Stones.
Carn Dûm:
Players can once again enter the Tower area normally.
Halls of Crafting:
Monsters now give the correct Galadhrim reputation for killing them.
Dark Brotherhood:
The Mistress is mad! The Mistress smash harder!
Waterwheels:
Hard Mode has increased slightly in difficulty. The Caerogs can now periodically help each other out of mezzes and roots.
The pistons no longer cause line-of-sight failures.
Players can no longer get stuck in perma-root with the final boss.
Hall of Mirrors:
Fixed an issue that was causing players to not be able to proceed further into the instance.
Ergoth has decided to stop hiding from players. She has also polished the final mirror to a fine shine. Be careful, it is a little slippery!
Task-mistress corpses will no longer infinitely spawn defilers.
Ergoth also hates perchers, FYI.
